Personal Injury

Have you lost a family member due to a negligent action?

If so, you or other members of your family may be entitled to compensation for the loss of your spouse, child or relative.  Generally, claims adjusters are quick to offer you money so that you will not seek the advice of an attorney.  However, you should always seek the advice of an attorney before talking to an insurance company or accepting any offers to settle a claim.  Our attorneys will provide you with a free initial consultation to discuss your potential claims.  In many instances, you will find that your case has more value than the insurance company has offered you.

Have you suffered a serious injury outside of work due to a negligent action?

Such injuries include injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident, on a ship, on an airplane, on a city bus, etc.  If the injury was caused by the negligence of another person, you have potential claims against the negligent party.  Our office will be happy to discuss these claims with you.  Our attorneys are experienced in handling large injury cases, such as amputations, traumatic brain injuries and  surgical cases.  Please contact us for a free consultation.

Was your injury caused by the negligence of someone other than your employer or a co-worker?

If so, you are entitled to bring a claim against the negligent party.  If the negligent party was your employer, or your co-worker under the direction of your employer, then you may not be able to bring a claim.  If the negligent party was anyone else, then you may have a potential claim.  If no negligence was involved on the part of the third person, you cannot bring a claim.

Were you working at a construction site?

If so, you may be able to bring a claim against the General Contractor or other contractors whose negligent action caused your injury.  Certain Washington State Court Decisions state that the General Contractor is in charge of all safety on a job site.

Were you working for a temporary placement agency?

If so, you may be able to bring a claim against the job site where you were placed to work, if your injury was caused by the negligence of the persons who controlled the job site.  As long as your employer, the temporary agency, did not also control the job site, you may have an additional claim, and we can investigate this matter for you.
